Your information on UpperRoomTalk

What we collect. Your email address and password (stored securely by our database provider, Supabase), your profile name, username, bio and photo, and the posts, comments, debate arguments, votes and messages you create.

What’s public. Your profile, posts, comments, debate arguments, and who you follow. Your email address is never shown to other members.

Private messages. Only you and the person you’re talking with can read them in the app. The site owner can technically access the database for safety and legal reasons, and will only look at messages when they are reported or required by law.

Ads. We show ads from Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can manage this at google.com/settings/ads. Ad-free supporters don’t see ads.

Payments. Payments for the ad-free plan are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Deleting your data. You can delete your posts and comments at any time. To delete your whole account, email hello@upperroomtalk.com from the address you signed up with.

Age. UpperRoomTalk is for people 13 and older.
